from Yucaipa, California and Hunt-N-Dogs Estates. Seeker's sire was
FC-AFC Rebel With A Cause an
FC-AFC yellow dog is bred from two field champion parents,
is the only
yellow field trial champion with two FC, AFC parents, both of
which were black - Rebel was the only yellow in his litter and is retired
now due to an injury. He is a brother
to our Thunder and Lightning . The Steven's get all the credit for the
accomplishments as Seeker has been with them since he was 8 weeks of age.
We were so proud to do the special breeding with our Holly and raise him
for 8 weeks and see him at his events.

Seeker
is all muscle and has been a dream to train.
Kathy & Steve, professional trainers, have trained Seeker since he was
8
weeks of age. He was this beautiful yellow puppy with diamond shape
eyes and dark pigmentation. He bounded out of the crate along with
his sister, Puddles and that was it, we were in love. He has not
changed much in personality but he now is all muscle at weighing in at 80
lbs.
Seeker has been a dream to train and he responds well to all situations.
He has good concentration, a
water entry to die for, and great marking ability.
His temperament
is similar to his father -
FC-AFC Rebel With a Cause as far as
being relaxed on the kennel truck, sleeping upside down. Yet when
you open the door and he finishes his stretch he is very strong in the
field. With Steve being struck with cancer when Seeker was just at
the age of starting his training, he did not start in his basics until he
was over a year old. It was slow starting for Seeker only due to
Steve's radiation therapy, but he responded very quickly as well as Steve.
Seeker blew threw Junior's and onto Senior's within just a few
short months, passing in four straight Senior tests.
He
went straight on to Master's before the age of two, where he has passed
the last four of five tests at the age of two. At barely the age of
three, he received his Master title and went on to qualify for the 2004
Master Nationals. He went to Horicon, Wisconsin where he brought
home a beautiful AKC Master National plate at the age of three-and-half.
He was in the B group where 157 started the test and only 35 passed. He
was one of 35.
He
loves going to the duck club. While other dogs are breaking and
running a muck, his honoring is magnificent. Seeker
has also
gone to Oregon with Steve on one of their many hunting trips for upland
game. He has the stamina to hunt from morning until dark. His
only fault is when they get back to the hotel room, Steve has to fight for
the covers. Good luck Steve - Seeker wins almost every time.
Due to Steve having this habit of wanting to hunt all the time, Seeker
does not get to run very many tests in the fall and winter. Whatever
Seeker
accomplishes, he usually has done off-season.
Steve
is now considering running him in Field Trials. Steve never had the
interest to run field trials, but with Seeker, this has sparked that
desire. We have always just had a love to hunt and stopped with
that. But this labrador has made us want to go further. At
this point we love him and he has given us so much joy that we do not
care if he makes it in the field trial game. He is everything that
we are wanting out of a hunting dog.

Both Seeker and Whitney passed all 6 tests at the Master Nationals in
