Pitch is now 6 weeks of age, has been in the water for 2 swims and soon to be going to his new home.  He has had his first vaccine, microchip inserted for permanent identification and retrieving a bumper.  After exercise and playtime, he will lay on his back in the crate sleeping.

Pitch at 6 weeks of age.

Pitch is quickly learning to "come", "sit" and is crate trained, as well as, potty training.  Sleeping at night in the crate, waking up at around 6am.  He was weaned at 5 weeks, eating puppy food, moistened and with a little of cottage cheese added to his diet.

Pitch is enjoying the outside playing and running around.  He is pictured at 4 1/2 weeks of age.

Pitch is now 4 weeks of age and the pictures of when he was 3 1/2 weeks of age.  He is doing great, loves going outside on the grass, starting his potty training.  He has began to eat soft food, his teeth are in, has a very good appetite.  The weaning process will begin this week.  Since he is the only puppy, he is with us on our main level and will be starting to familiar with the crate.  When he gets tired, he goes back to the room with the whelping box and goes asleep.

Pitch is now 2 weeks of age and his eyes are open.  He is walking around, and loves to be held.  He had his dew claws removed at Day 4, continues to socialized a lot.  Pitch is going to be very spoiled.

Jazz and her new BIG Male "Pitch"

Jazz had her puppy on Thursday, April 12th, 2007 by C-Section and only had one big male.  His name is "Pitch" and both are doing very well.  Jazz is pictured with Pitch, standing and strong at 5 hours of age.   All of our clients have been notified, and we will are planning on breeding our Windy with Bear when she comes in cycle for a litter of chocolate labrador puppies which should be by the end of this month.

Jazz and Bear's Labrador Retriever puppies are due April 9th, 2007 and will be dark chocolate in color.  The ultrasonography picture is to the left confirming the pregnancy.  The puppies will be ready at 7 weeks around  May 28th.  We keep a priority list for our upcoming litters.
All of our puppies are born and raised in our home, extremely socialized and visits begin at 3 weeks and again at 5 weeks for socialization, by appointment only. Pictured to the right is Jazz when she was 8 weeks of age.
Please click on "Puppy Inquiry" and give us some information regarding your family, including address and telephone number, living environment, intentions for the puppy i.e. pet/companion, hunt tests, hunting and will the puppy be in the house and be a true member of the family.  Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.  We have already began a priority list for our puppies.  Pictures of puppies from her last litter are below.

The Sire:  Hunts Bear Montana Blue
Bear is our chocolate male and a son of  FC-AFC-CFC-CAFC Barracuda Blue, MH (2 October 1990 - 13 February 2003) Cuda (Barracuda Blue) was the only FC-AFC and high point All-Age chocolate labrador in AKC field trial history, and all amateur handled.  He was also the first and only chocolate labrador to qualify for the National Amateur Field Trials in '96 and '97.  Bear is a super powerful, very stocky dog weighing about 75 lbs.  He lives up to his name when he's sent to retrieve.  Bear throws up dirt and rocks when he runs!  He's a dog of muscle, power, and enthusiasm.  His water entry is just like his dads - all air under him till he hits the water.  He could never be in a diving competition because his splash is way-too-big.  OFA Hip > Good, and Eye CERF.  Bear's puppies are always bigger than he is.  Pedigree    Action Photo's
